R-71 poised to qualify for November ballot!
August 27, 2009 - The State of Washington is at a moral crossroads. The R-71 signature count in the next few days will determine whether or not we take a giant societal step toward validating a radical homosexual agenda.
As of Wednesday evening, the Office of Secretary of State's Elections Division has reviewed about 85 percent of the referendum's approximately 137,689 signatures that we turned in July 25. They are predicting that the count will be finished by Monday or Tuesday of next week.
NOW FOR SOME REALLY GREAT NEWS!
While the signature count is still considered "too close to call" by the Secretary of State, we are holding onto a pace that will exceed the 120,577 required signatures. My friends, we are very, very close to declaring a victory for this phase one of the R-71 campaign!
Do you agree with us and many others that Protect Marriage Washington's R-71 campaign has reignited the conservative grassroots of Washington State?
Would you please help us continue our efforts to preserve marriage and protect children by donating to the campaign right now?
It is critical that we prepare for a large scale multi-media ad campaign and statewide grassroots sign and literature distribution blitz. We will have a very short time to mobilize so money now is crucial to our success on election day (November 3, 2009), which is less than 10 weeks from today!
We know that our opponents will be well funded. They have already raised nearly three times as much as we have. While the Protect Marriage Washington team has proven itself more than capable of utilizing limited resources and overcoming "insurmountable odds", we've got to have adequate funding to run a successful statewide campaign!
We are counting on you to help us now as we prepare to win in November. Please give generously today!
We are encouraging Christians statewide to pray for the Referendum 71 signature validation effort - Pray that we go over the top by Monday or Tuesday of next week!
